Volunteers harvesting vegetables in the church community garden

Our Signature Initiative

Growing Food. Growing Faith. Growing Community.

One city lot, thirty-four raised beds, and a whole neighborhood learning together what it looks like when a church plants something that feeds people.

Our Vision

A garden where the fence never keeps anyone out — where food, friendship, and faith grow in the same soil, and where our neighborhood knows the church shows up on ordinary Saturdays, not just Sunday mornings.

Why We Have a Community Garden

Too many families in our zip code live far from fresh, affordable produce. A garden answers a real need, teaches real skills, and puts people side by side long enough to become friends.

What We Grow

Collards, kale, tomatoes, peppers, okra, sweet potatoes, herbs, squash, and a pollinator border that keeps the whole garden humming.

Who We Serve

Neighborhood families, seniors on fixed incomes, our food pantry guests, and the community meals we host each month — no application, no questions asked.

There's a Job for Every Pair of Hands
